Hello Mate..i would say Cocktail 2040 are no way close to 1745 but right between normal 2040 and 1842 so still class as "light draw" bandset, how ever by cocktailing 2040 the band life would not be as long as normal 2040, but than if know how to make them who care about the band life i am thinking about getting the tools as well..
Here is more surprise for you mate..

Oh Wow..i am very surprised to see Normal 1745 + 9.5mm steel ball has no advantage at all Vs Normal 2040, 1745 + 12mm steel ball @ 188 fps Vs 2040 + 12mm @ 177 fps = 11 fps different this may be the only advantage for 1745 are using 12mm steel ball, but than 11 fps with such heavy draw is it worth it? Its up to you.
Wow Mate..i had to give you 200% respect, coz as for myself i am starting to having hard time pulling loop tube 1745 to my draw @ 28" let let alone 1745 Cocktail and 2050 i would say for 1745 its better to use 10mm minium, other wise 1745 Cocktail can Over Power 8mm & 9.5mm very easy.
