I bought this on behalf of a friend - so this is his opinion (he is much more experienced than me with these things).
He simply loves it! He is a welder and blacksmith by trade an was quite impressed by the quality and finish - especially at this price. He was not keen on the wrapping (we are all different!) but it is easily removed. Basically the Pixiu has made all his other catapults redundant - including two rather expensive UK made ones. Overall he is delighted with it.
I have shot it as well and I rather like it.
Only my second catapult, still very new to this game!
I should admit that I bought it because it looks so pretty!
This is quite a chunky catapult but it handles beautifully, shoots very well and the quality is top notch. I am very, very, pleased with mine.
OK, I rated it at 5 stars, well after some switching of tubes and lengths, have more to add, After many shots and becoming used to using the sight, it is becoming what I believe will be my number one go to for accuracy, I use it almost all the time anymore, took a while to get accustom to aiming with it, but now it is what I believe one of the best that I own, a solid number 5. Fine slingshot / catty.
About the pouches, the thing is, me and lot of my friends use the Yellow
LiquideBullet Pouches when shooting 8mm steel. Those LiquideBullet Pouches
are getting really popular here in Germany, because they are very durable
and the open up very good so no risk of RTS.
The only problem is, sometimes when we shoot over 8mm ammo, they are too small.
So the perfect thing would be also to have a little bigger Yellow
LiquideBullet Pouches from the same material, only bigger.. Same form, same
holes, only a little bigger which could be used for 10mm-12mm ammo..
But if this is not possible, those two pouches you sent me, are also very
good.. Very durable, opening up really good and are light weight..
So if there is a possibility I can buy some from both let me know, and the
price.. And I am sure, soon there will be more slingshot shooter
interessted in them..

LiquideBullet pouches available from Dankung...

Bands or tubes doesnt matter it works and it's fantastic.
So fantastic that I bought two! Also it's very compact and you can carry it with you every where, in the field at the office, in your back!
