Hi, yourn handle is very beautiful! It is different from the picture of this ad, Did you buy it separately? Could you tell me where? I don't like the gold color of the stock handle, thanks
I discussed with Dan Kung team many times before I made the decision buying this rod. I want a UL rod, but not a floppy noodle. I want something like at least 6ft moderate fast rod. Dan Kung guy sent me a small video showing how moderate it is. Very saftisfied with the fishing sense and quality of this rod. I now fish out of a kayak primarily
I bought this for my creek fishing at the creeks in NC. It worked fine. the quality is very good. Overall speaking, it's similar to my Anglo rod(http://www.anglo.jp/) that I got it at 110,000 Japanese Yen(about 870 US dollars). So this rod is a budget edition of Anglo rod with a little bit softer power than Anglo. Here are pictures of my Anglo and GLASSFIN rod.
this is an ultra-light bait finesse reel offering from Fishband. I cast 1/8oz to 1/16oz lures very well with this reel and braid line . I have used many BFS reels before purchased this one. The Clamber is more like a professional BFS reel specific for very light lures , while Curado is like a general finesse reel.
My KastKing Zephyr not works well as a BFS reel until I made a bunch of alterations to it.
Hi I am from India..I bought this jig recently..shipping took near a month. But product came in good condition..good packing ..I love this new edition which doesn't require forceps..its works very well..compact design..quality is good..I am much satisfied with my purchase.
After my buddy told me his 12mm lead down at 268fps with cocktail tubes, I thought I must have a try. My initial experiences with 2040(premium edition, from Dankung too) setups were so exciting, my 5/16" steel (8.0mm) was 234fps with common loop band, now it is 292fps with 2040-1632 cocktail bands. I will definitely test more cocktail bands with the 1745 and 1842 bands. DanKung tube and tool always amaze me.
A very nice fall color fly rod. It has a medium-fast action . I think it is the same fiberglass material as Kabuto, but different design philopsophy. and finish is not as good as Kabuto's. Overall speaking, for that price I am very happy . I am seeking orange fly line backing and orange fly line that matches well with this rod.
An exciting rod, 4'8" XUL rated for 0.4 - 3.5g. Slow tip, tip is thinner than the Dobyns SUF rod which is 1/16((1.8g)-5/16oz. this rod excites me because it is capable of loading up easily on 1/56th(0.5gram), maybe even 0.3g it dare I sayЎЎ
Definitely I've found it being a great rod for weightless senkos/drop shots/ned rigs/free rigs and the like, especially with the fiberglass tip.
This rod is softer, less stiff than my other rod, very good casting accuracy within at least 40-foot range Soft presentations possible within 32-37 feet. I think there are a lot of technique in the rod's material. I would highly recommend this rod for the anglers cast very light lure.
I have an Orvis and a Moonshine that my friends brought me from US. This fiberglass rod feel better. I was astonished by its fiberglass material and fishing experience: nice tippet protection, better for the fish when fighting, medium fast action fits my fishing preference. One of the best rods for the money!
It's aesthetic glossy green fly rod, medium-fast action. I use it to fish dry flies, wet flies, and nymphs, which are still the three lures that I catch the most fishes. I pair it with Airflo Trout Fly Line, This rod just performs very well with all fly fishing lures except heavy streamers.
I've been fly fishing for over 28 years in the US Rockies, for trout. and have Moonshine, Sage... and found, this is a really nice performing, nice looking rod(I love translucent fiberglass) that performs well with my rods that priced at 2-3X as much.
It's marked as 'Medium Fast' action, in my experience, it's almost same action as my graphite fly rod's 'Medium' action. Paired it with RIO InTouch Gold Fly Line. I will not doubt search other BFS rod from DanKung to take the place of a heavier 6-7weight streamer fly rod.
I qualified as a Certified Casting Instructor (CCI) on 16 June 2017. It took me 19 months practice to pass the exam. Received my 1wt rod several days ago, with the intention of setting it up for small trout fishing. I paired the rod with RIO Fly Lines. I tied on a nymph and tried it at foreyard. I was easily shooting out a distance more than I expected. Very impressed with the ease and distance I was able to cast this setup. For some reason, I was able to feel the rod load better than with just about any other rods(Moonshine etc) I have. It isn't on par with my HARDY rod of 499 dollars, and at its price point, this rod is an great value!
This little glass rod is a well made and a beautiful design. The action of the rod is very soft action at the top of section of the rod, and the back of the rod has good back bone. This rod main design for Flick castingin small bodies of water such as Streams, creeks, canals and small areas in general. Paired with my Alphas air TW with upgraded Hedgehog Studio bearings, I'm able to cast down to .5g jighead with a micro size soft plastic around 30-40ft range and that distance that's more than enough for small areas of fishing.Overall I like this rod and very fun that's what fishing is all about.
I've owned my Lingl for a few weeks I like it so much. trout fishing with it has been alright. Overall this BFS LINGL is closer to JDM performance for much less money. Just the finish is a bit of an issue but for that price I am very satisfied.
This rod is an underrated rod in my book, performs on a high level fiberglass rod and doesn't cost what some of the popular bfs fiberglass rods do,such as Dan Kung's GLASSFIN which is 120+ dollars. the tip part is fiberglass and the handle part is graphite. Excellent flick casting capability. I yesterday landed a tiger trout at a narrow spot with this hybrid rod.
I already have LINGL BFS reel, and I found it this LINGL versatile at Youtube(next to the video by Reel Test). I took a chance on this version. It's as good as the BFS version with higher speed ratio. I mainly use it with Low-stretch line and the fast reel make it easier to hook fish and get them out of water before it becomes stalemate fighting. I am very pleased that DanKung always come up with something new of CDM.
It's Summer here in South Australia. Landed an invasive Asian snakehead with my UL fiberglass rod. This fish weight is nearly double that of the rod breaking strain. Great quality and super fun of fighting!

It's actually better than what I was expecting and wanted. But has slightly less backbone than I had imagined
