Many highly skilled shooters and the average shooter, like myself, would like to be able to use the very best tubes. People will always pay extra for higher quality products. Dankung does make very high quality products. Quality is in every Dankung product.

Last few batches of 20/40 have been real inconsistent . You can make 2 band sets from 2 different rolls of 20/40 and they feel totally different. Ones easy to pull the other hard. Same exact length .

I have been shooting dankung tubing for quite some time now and the main thing I am after in tubing is consistency.
If the tubes are consistent then so is my practice and my shooting.
If I'm competition shooting then I need the tubes to be as consistent as possible. A big yes from me!
I'm sure every serious shooter would pay extra for premium also

as mentioned above consistency is key. inconsistent tubes affect my shooting and the making of tube sets. so i for one would like to see the return of the premium range.
I believe shooters would gladly pay more for the better tubes. You need to eliminate the variables as much as possible as a shooter and better bands is one of them.

Even if the premium is only mildly profitable, it just makes good sense to offer a higher quality product for those who prefer the best and are willing to pay for it. Do you really want to say - 'There's better tubing out there but we only offer the mediocre grade'.
Don't get rid of a quality product when you look around there are high quality hand made catapults being sold to people who want to shoot high quality tubes on them. Give the people the right information and a good product and they will buy.

They are very noticeable I have always been a Dankung tube shooter for over eight years but stopped using them a couple of months ago because they are so inconsistent and now shoot with thera tube red consistency is important to me as I love striking matches with a catapult it'seems the most exhilarating thing you can do is ignite a flame I used to be able to put one shot on top of another regularly and strike a match within five shots all the time your tubes used to be the best I certainly would like to be able to get them again and would not hesitate to come back to you if you do supply them.
I have been shooting tube slingshot for 10 years. My draw is right at 40 inches.
I have several rigged with different size tubes, including flatband, 1745, 1842, 2040, 2050.
I now use looped 1745* or four strand fixed for 9.5mm steel for target practice, and four strand 2050 dankung tubes for 40cal lead balls for hunting.
I bought tubes from several sources. When it comes to consistency, DANKUNG tube is the best although it's still not the perfect!
Just bring the premium tube back which is perfect!!
Does Dankung really want a reputation for selling only second rate products?
People will pay the extra for the premium quality tubes so keep them going.
I've been getting Dankung tubes for about 4 years now. It seems that in recent times tube stiffness has changed. I don't know if this was directed by Dankung to their vendor for a new choice of targeting, or if this represents a loss of control by their tube vendor. Either way, it leaves me not knowing what to order to get the stiffness I expect and want. Here's some history that reflects the stiffness variation. I use tube density (e.g., in grams per inch of length) to reflect stiffness-- e.g., 2 identical bands in parallel will have twice the stiffness (or force) and twice the density. Note that there is not enough accuracy in measuring tube diameters to reflect reproducibility.
The last order of (standard) 2040 I received was 20% lower density than previous ones and the pull was so wimpy it was useless to me. 1745 long ago had a density of about 0.31, then it was consistently raised to about 0.34. My last order was back down to about 0.31, and is so weak it seems like a different tube type, and is almost useless to me.
I need more 1745 with density ~0.34. So how do I order this? At some point, companies need to spec their products to both their customers and their vendors. Density is very easy to measure and I hope Dankung will spec it before I'm driven to look at other vendors (until recently I've been very pleased with Dankung).
I buy many different types of tubing and catapults from this company and they are always top quality, the shipping is very reasonable and the despatch time is excellent, any problems are promptly sorted out, Dankung have been around many years now, and will hopefully be around for many more.
