a contest is running
Long distance casting is an eternal theme in fishing. For bank fishing and shore fishing, further distance means bigger chance for fishes. Even for the boat or yoach fishing, when the anglers are able to approach the target waters, long distance casting is still important as fishes are scared and escapted when boat is getting too close to them.
You may know the popular surf casting, it is similar to your standard casting style, but with an emphasis on distance.
Challenging longer distance is exciting and it's DANKUNG team member's favorite activity.
There are many factors affacting the casting distanse, such as rod selection, right reel, fishing line, the weight of lure, rig etc.
DANKUNG loves long distance with an emphasis on lure as lure is very convenient and easy thing to change.

Long Distance Casting with Ed Betteridge
About long casting which is very useful at shore fishing, I only admire this guy.
He can get 100-yard accurate hit with a minnow.
Surf Fishing and long casting go hand in hand. Many surf casters spend hours practicing their casts to gain more distance
A great topic!! What I have been focusing in the past two years are how to achieve distance with big baits.
Big horizontally-retrieved lures like minnow, swimbaits and crankbaits are at their best at running depth on a long cast.
Jigging lure, pencil are easy to cast long, but minnow, frog are difficult.
Long cast increases the chance that you'll bring the lure to a fish. For me, long casting distances offer a challenge as here my lake’s best fishing positions require casting your bait at 100 to 150 meters from the bank.
You would think it is impossible to do. But I do believe it's possible, beacause I did it ocassionally.
This is my teacher in Youtube, hope it help you too.
How to Long-Distance Cast Big Baits
Effective surf fishing needs a long distance casting. In my opinion, a common adult is able to cast at least 100 yards. But I cann't now. I just practice and practice and change the style I cast. Lure is also important.
if anybody have better cast style, please let me know.
long distance casting is very important, what I admire most is this guy. It seems he has alien casting technique.
