Dankung 1636 Tube..

Hello Boys & Girls, long story shot here is a Test Result for DK's 1636 Tube and a Chorongraph i got from Dankung that turn up at my door yesterday, but first i'll test DK's 2040 Tube as a template 9.5mm & 12mm steel ball will be use test for 1636 8mm steel ball will be included.

Slingshot:
DK's Ergonomic Dancing Slingshot with Grooves
Height: 124 mm
Width between Forks: 42 mm
Material: 440c Stainless Steel
Weight: 200 g

Dankung 2040 Tube – Full Loops with 15.5cm active @ 28inch draw length, the fork are about 60cm away from the first gate of the Chorongraph.

9.5mm Steel Ball
1) 62.6 m/s
2) 64.5 m/s
3) 65.5 m/s
4) 64.3 m/s
5) 64.1 m/s
Avg: 64.2 m/s = 210 fps

12mm Steel Ball
1) 54.4 m/s
2) 55.9 m/s
3) 51.2 m/s
4) 54.9 m/s
5) 54.4 m/s
Avg: 54.1 m/s = 177 fps

Dankung 1636 Tube - Full Loops with 15.5cm active @ 28inch draw length, the fork are about 60cm away from the first gate of the Chorongraph.

8mm Steel Ball
1) 63.7 m/s
2) 65.1 m/s
3) 64.9 m/s
4) 64.9 m/s
5) 67.4 m/s
Avg: 65.2 m/s = 213.9 fps

9.5mm Steel Ball
1) 62.0 m/s
2) 62.4 m/s
3) 62.7 m/s
4) 62.7 m/s
5) 63.7 m/s
Avg: 62.7 m/s = 204.7 fps

12mm Steel Ball
1) 51.2 m/s
2) 52.2 m/s
3) 51.3 m/s
4) 52.4 m/s
5) 50.5 m/s
Avg: 51.51 m/s = 168.9 fps

So Here is all the results if you Boys and Girls want to know more about the 1636 Tube and the Chorongraph feel free to do so, i will answer as best as i can. Thank You

Thank you, Mansell, that is a very good test!
I am surprised at how close the results for 1636 and 2040 tubes are, though I guess it makes sense since in both cases the tube thickness is the same (36-16=20, 40-20=20).

After all i only got a Short 28inch draw so for other shooter that use longer draw the numbers may be different.

My draw is 28-29 inches, too, so to my it applies perfectly.

hi, what bands did you use, I mean it's four-strand or eight-strand?
By my knowledge, 4-strand 2040 or 1636 has no enough power to propel big ammo as 9.5mm or 12mm
Could you show a picture of your bands used?

Here is my Tubes..

Here you go mate, on the Left are 1636 Right are 2040 they are both at 15.5cm active and i am using 28inch draw length both of the tubes and the Chorongraph are order from Dankung..
