I've been seeking the best (most affordable) place to order a pouch die. I am in Texas.
I used the pouch made myselft by cutting them out and using a hole punch. Works fine but a die would be so much faster and nicer.
Here are my sets of hole punches.
I tried the GZK pouch die, GZK has springs that pop the leather dot out of the cutting tube but the springs are too long , very hard to get a clean cut.
DANKUNG not lists them, I contacted Tim withouting having a clear intention. Much to my surprise, DANKUNG Tim has many slingshot pouch dies. I bought two of them. As the pouch die is relative heavy and needs extra shipping cost, so they are not listed.
It Works pretty well, just put the leather on wood block place stamp on the leather
I use several layers of thick non corrugated cardboard stock as a backer of the leather.
A workbench vise is used so I wrap the cardboard together basically making a soft board thicker than the knife edge on the die. Finally put it in the workbench vise and press away.
I can make 5 pouches in a couple of minutes, my big brother than make 15 pieces, he is much stronger than me.

Much to my surprise, here a 70-year old man can make the slingshot pouches.
That is a simple light weight steel rule die! It's not very professional, but the material is very good, and is made for a long life.
I think I could buy a really good heavy duty solid die to do the same thing here in the USA for about the same money , but as the blacksmith is just at our town, very convenient to buy and communicate with him. Center hole is necessary for my pouch, he just added it to the die.
I've bought 5 dies from him, and visited his home more than 10 times. After a long time of trying and testing and feedback for modifying. Now they works well, I use a hammer to cut the pouches. Making pouches with die really helped me a lot to understand the many things of slingshot shooting.
The pouches had heavy thick residue when came out from blacksmith's studio, I tried the laundry detergent, soap.. and finally found the Listerine is the best for cleaning it.
There are many funs of DIY pouch with the slingshot pouch dies, but for serious target practice, I prefer the commercial laser cut slingshot pouches
