Much to my surprise, here a 70-year old man can make the slingshot pouches.
That is a simple light weight steel rule die! It's not very professional, but the material is very good, and is made for a long life.
I think I could buy a really good heavy duty solid die to do the same thing here in the USA for about the same money , but as the blacksmith is just at our town, very convenient to buy and communicate with him. Center hole is necessary for my pouch, he just added it to the die.
I've bought 5 dies from him, and visited his home more than 10 times. After a long time of trying and testing and feedback for modifying. Now they works well, I use a hammer to cut the pouches. Making pouches with die really helped me a lot to understand the many things of slingshot shooting.
The pouches had heavy thick residue when came out from blacksmith's studio, I tried the laundry detergent, soap.. and finally found the Listerine is the best for cleaning it.
There are many funs of DIY pouch with the slingshot pouch dies, but for serious target practice, I prefer the commercial laser cut slingshot pouches
gh100 is just awesome! I own a Alphas Air, Shimano Aldebaran and an Abu Garcia Revo EXD, each of them I bought at 300+ dollars. But I fish much more with my Fishband GH100 than either of those much more expensive reels.
